Frequently Asked Questions
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique designed to enhance the natural appearance of your eyebrows. Using a fine, hand-held tool with precision micro-needles, I create delicate, hair-like strokes to mimic the natural texture, color, and shape of your brows. The result is a fuller, more defined look that complements your unique features and saves you time in your daily routine.
My Signature Technique: Soft and Natural Brows
My approach to microblading is all about creating brows that enhance your natural
beauty—think “your brow, but better.” By carefully selecting pigment shades and tailoring the stroke patterns to match your natural hair growth, I achieve a subtle, soft finish that blends seamlessly with your existing brows. Whether you’re looking to fill in sparse areas, define your arches, or add symmetry, my technique ensures a flawless, natural result that never looks overdone.
Customized for Every Client
While my specialty lies in natural-looking brows, I understand that every client has their own style and preferences. Whether you want a barely-there enhancement or a bolder, more defined look, I customize my microblading technique to suit your individual needs. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your desired outcome, brow shape, and color preferences to create a look that’s uniquely yours.
The Benefits of Microblading
● Effortless Beauty: Wake up with perfectly shaped brows every day.
● Time-Saving: Say goodbye to filling in your brows with pencils or powders.
● Long-Lasting Results: Enjoy your beautifully enhanced brows for up to 12-18 months, with minimal touch-ups required.
● Boosted Confidence: Natural-looking brows can frame your face and enhance your features, helping you feel more confident.
Are You an Ideal Microblading Candidate?
Microblading is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their natural brows with a fuller, more defined appearance. You might be an ideal candidate if:
● You’re tired of filling in your brows daily with pencils or powders.
● You have a hard time filling in your brows.
● You have uneven brows.
● You’re looking for a longer-lasting brow solution.
● You don’t want any more bad brow days!!!
● You have sparse or uneven brows and want a more symmetrical, polished look.
● You want a natural enhancement that saves time and effort in your beauty routine.
● You desire a long-lasting solution to maintain beautiful brows without the need for
frequent touch-ups.
● You’re in good overall health and don’t have any conditions that might affect healing (such as certain skin conditions or pregnancy).
What Are Powder Ombre Brows?
Powder ombre brows are a semi-permanent makeup technique that creates a soft, powdered effect, resembling the look of perfectly filled-in brows. Unlike microblading, which uses hair-like strokes, powder ombre brows use a shading method with a tattoo machine to deposit pigment into the skin. The result is a gradient effect, with lighter shading at the front of the brows and a darker, more defined tail, giving a soft, polished, and refined appearance.
My Approach to Powder Ombre Brows:
I customize each powder ombre treatment to suit your individual style, whether you prefer a soft and natural enhancement or a bold and dramatic look. My goal is to create brows that compliment your features while maintaining a natural and soft appearance.
Who Is a Good Candidate for Powder Ombre Brows?
You might be an ideal candidate for powder ombre brows if:
● You fill in your brows everyday.
● You have a hard time filling in your brows.
● You tint your brows consistently.
● You have uneven brows.
● You want a more defined, makeup-like finish compared to microblading.
● You have oily or combination skin, which may not retain microblading strokes as
effectively.
● You’re looking for a longer-lasting brow solution.
● You don’t want any more bad brow days!!!
● You have sensitive skin and want a less invasive technique than microblading.
● You’re in good overall health and don’t have any conditions that might affect healing (such as certain skin conditions or pregnancy).
What Are Combo Brows?
Combo brows are the perfect blend of microblading and powder ombre techniques, offering the best of both worlds. This versatile semi-permanent makeup method combines the natural, hair-like strokes of microblading with the soft, shaded effect of powder ombre brows. The result is a beautifully balanced look that’s both defined and natural, tailored to enhance your unique features.
My Approach to Combo Brows:
When creating combo brows, I strategically use microblading strokes at the front of the brows for a soft, natural appearance, gradually transitioning into a powdered effect toward the arch and tail for definition. This combination allows me to achieve a highly customized look, whether you want subtle enhancements or a bolder, more polished result.
Who Is a Good Candidate for Combo Brows?
Combo brows are ideal if:
● You love the natural look of microblading but want added definition for a fuller appearance.
● You have sparse or uneven brows and desire a more dimensional and symmetrical look.
● You have oily or combination skin that may benefit from the longevity of powder shading.
● You want a tailored brow style that bridges the gap between natural and makeup like finishes.
● You’re in good overall health and don’t have any conditions that might affect healing (such as certain skin conditions or pregnancy).
If you’re unsure which technique is right for you, schedule a consultation where I’ll assess your brows and discuss your goals to ensure the best results. Let’s create the brows you’ve always wanted!
What is Lip Blushing?
Lip blushing is a semi-permanent makeup technique that enhances the natural color, shape, and definition of your lips. Using a tattoo machine, pigment is gently deposited into the lips to create a soft, tinted effect that looks like a lip tint. This enhancement can improve lip symmetry, add vibrancy to your natural color, and give your lips a more youthful, polished appearance.
My Approach to Lip Blushing
My lip blushing technique is designed to enhance your natural beauty with a soft and natural finish. I work closely with you to select a shade that complements your skin tone and achieves your desired look, whether it’s a barely-there tint or a more defined, lipstick-like effect. The result is a beautifully enhanced, smudge and sweat proof version of your natural lips.
Who Is a Good Candidate for Lip Blushing?
Lip blushing is an excellent option if:
● You are allergic to lipstick but wish to have color to your lips.
● You want to enhance your natural lip color without the need for daily lipstick or gloss.
● You have uneven lip tones or borders and desire a more symmetrical appearance.
● You have lip filler which can cause the vermillion border to lose its color and definition.
● If you have lost definition over the years.
● You want fuller looking lips without fillers.
● You have pale lips.
● You want a smudge and sweat proof solution.
● You are sick of reapplying lipstick!
● You’re in good overall health and don’t have any conditions that might affect healing (such as certain skin conditions or pregnancy).
Does it hurt?
We do all that we can to ensure that the process is as comfortable as possible. Before the Microblading begins, a topical anesthetic is applied to the area to minimize discomfort, followed by a liquid anesthetic during the procedure. Some clients may feel a slight discomfort, but it’s relatively pain free for most part.
How long does it last?
The retention rate of a semi permanent makeup tattoo depends on different factors such as the color, your skin retention, your lifestyle, touch ups, and how you care for them before and after your appointment. On average, permanent makeup fades away within 2-5 years, with most people wanting a touch up yearly.
You cannot receive permanent cosmetics if you are:
● Under 18

LIP BLUSH and NEUTRALIZATION
*** ***PLEASE READ!! *** ***
If you’ve had any history of cold sores / blisters / herpes (even as a child) or if you’re unsure, you must
have your physician prescribe you with Zovirax, Valtrex, or L-Lysine 1000mg 3-5 days prior to your
appointment or get medication from your doctors 3-5 days prior and 3 days after the procedure and
repeat on all visits.
● Exfoliate & moisturize your lips with lip scrub and Aquaphor 3-5 days prior to the procedure.
● No lip fillers 4 weeks prior to and post lip blush
● Hydrate with water. If your lips are severely chapped, dry, and peeling, you cannot receive lip
blush.
● If your lip blush appointment is booked during an outbreak of cold sores on your lips, the
procedure may not be done.
Do I need the touch-up appointment?
Yes! All Permanent Cosmetic procedures require 2 sessions.
It is a 2 part process especially if we are building your brows!
During your 6-8 week follow-up we can assess your pigment retention and make any adjustments needed. This follow-up also increases the longevity of your microblading.
How long does it take?
Depending on the service, the initial appointment usually takes about 2.5-3.5 hrs, the consultation takes place during this appointment.
We will take time to address your goals and preferences and create a custom shape and color together. The touch up usually takes 1.5-2.5 hrs.
What is the healing process?
Brows:
Aftercare instructions are absolutely crucial to ensuring the longevity and beauty of your new brows. It’s essential to follow these instructions, as not doing so may negatively impact the outcome of your permanent makeup. You will be provided with an aftercare kit at the end of your appointment at no additional cost.
When it comes to post-treatment care, patience is key. You must remember that your brows are healing, and it’s important to give them the time and space they need to do so. Don’t be alarmed if your brows appear darker than expected in the first few days. This is perfectly normal and will eventually fade. By day 5 or 6, you may notice some flaking, but this is also nothing to worry about—it’s just part of the healing process.
● Never try to rub, touch, scratch or remove the scab, to avoid pigmentation loss, infection or scarring.
● In the shower, just wash your body and keep your head (brows) away.
● Do not swim (pools, hot tubs, lakes, or oceans) for 14 days.
● Do not exercise for 14 days (sweat changes the color).
● Do not receive chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or microneedling.
● Do not apply makeup to the brows for 14 days. Keep the area around your brows clean! Wearing makeup is totally fine, but you will want to make sure bacteria isn’t getting into your healing brows. Just be careful around the brow area.
● No sun exposure or salon tanning for 14 days.
Estimated timeline
● Day 1-3: Brows look darker, thicker (swollen) and sensitive. Don’t worry, the color will fade ove
the next week.
● Day 4-7: Brows will begin to scab/flake and patchy. do not panic!
● Day 8-14: Brows are completely peeled & color seems very faint/light.
● Day 15-35: Color comes back, starts to resurface and darken.
The best way to retain crisp lines and even pigment is to leave your brows alone as much as possible. Apply a light layer of the aftercare balm a few times a day to keep them hydrated. You will need to rinse your eyebrows gently once a day with the provided soap for 2 weeks. Avoid using any active-ingredient skincare products near your brows, as these can cause fading or color changes. Finally, keep in mind that all permanent makeup brow appointments are a two-session process, and touch-ups are crucial for ensuring optimal results. Your brows will require a touch-up session no later than 9 weeks after your initial appointment. Some clients may even require a third session depending on their individual needs. Remember, the better you care for your brows post-treatment, the longer they will stay beautiful and vibrant.
Lips
Some swelling and tenderness after the procedure is normal and may last a day or so. Your lips may look like you got lip filler, however, this is normal and typically subsides within the first 24 hours. Also, your lips will appear darker for the first few days. Lips have the easiest and fastest healing. It only takes about 4-5 days to heal. During this time, you will need to cleanse your lips with the provided soap and apply the provided ointment several times a day to keep them moisturized at all times.
● No kissing, rubbing or friction on the treatment area.
● Avoid oily, spicy and heavily seasoned food and drink with a straw. After every meal gently rinse
and clean lips with water and pat dry, then re-apply ointment.
● Do not pick or rub your lips and let the peeling happen naturally. Continue keeping your lips
moist!
● Avoid excessive sweating for 10 days
● Avoid smoking, swimming, hot baths or jacuzzis, hot saunas or steam rooms for 10 days.
● Avoid sun or salon tanning for 2 weeks.
● No makeup on the treated area for 10 days
Estimated timeline:
● Day 1: Swelling, tenderness, and high color intensity. Don’t panic – this is normal and it will subside.
● Day 2: Less swelling, more tenderness, and a lot of dryness. Don’t touch your lips! Apply the ointment.
● Day 3-7: Lips will begin and end the process of peeling, and color will lighten by 30%-50%. Do not pick or rub your lips and let the peeling happen naturally. Continue Keep lips moist
● Week 2: Lips are done peeling, color is light. You may return to normal routines. Lips will continue to heal, up to 6 weeks. Every week more color will surface/darken. Keep lips moist!
● Week 6-8: Your lips are healed and you’re feeling gorgeous!!! Just add some lip gloss and go! In most cases, two treatments are required to complete the lip transformation.
